Learning from ancient Central and Southern American traditions, here we imbibe the heart-opening medicine of Cacao while bathing in the vibrations of sound and intention. We start each Cacao Ceremony with a Dharma Talk.

All activities are optional. No experience is necessary. Though some gentle preparation is encouraged (we will provide this information when you inquire about booking).
You are invited to honour your needs, your space, and your heart’s knowing. Of course, the alchemy is in the sharing! We’ll be co-creating an intimate container - a loving and encouraging space to connect more deeply within and with each other.

ABOUT "PACHALEGRIA"

Nestled on a hill overlooking the beauty of the Pacific ocean, Pachalegria offers remarkable views and modern accommodations. This brand new retreat centre provides comfort, safety and beauty. Built on the foundations of love and respect towards the workers, artisans and the environment, the energy of kindness and community can be felt as we enter the premises.
The retreat center offers two yoga shalas, which will be the main areas for our teachings. You will be immersed in breathtaking views and the soft salty breeze of the ocean while the sound of the waves gently rock you to sleep after every day of transformation.
A short walk will lead you to the beach, restaurants and shops where you will be able to enjoy some time off to catch a sunset or stroll through the colourful streets of Zipolite. You will be greeted by sincere smiles and friendly locals who enjoy the simplicity of life in this community who welcomes people from all walks of life. Zipolite is very safe. It has often been referred to as a haven for societal “misfits”. Here, we welcome you as we are! To this effect, Zipolite is home to the only nude beach in Mexico. Nudity is optional, of course, but while walking down the beach, you will encounter souls who have decided to merge with nature and express themselves without fear of judgement. You will find a community that supports and nurtures each other where all are welcome to just BE!

A FEW NOTES

ARRIVAL:
Check-in is 2pm+ on March 12th, with dinner and opening ceremony to follow at 6pm. Guests are advised to fly into Guatemala City the days before or the early morning of March 12th.
​
DEPARTURE:
11am check-outs after Closing Ceremony & Breakfast on March 19th. Guests are advised to fly out of Guatemala City no earlier than 8pm on March 19th, or the following days.
​
GROUND TRANSPORT:
Tzununá in Lake Atitlán is located about 4 hours from the Guatemala City Airport. We’d be happy to arrange one of our trusted private drivers, for easy door-to-door service. We will gladly help you to organize any additional overnight stays in villages and towns of Lake Atitlán or the vibrant colonial city of Antigua - and we’ll also organize the appropriate ground (and water) transportation based on your budget and flow.

LAKE ATITLÁN HAS SO MUCH MORE TO OFFER!
We highly recommend giving yourself some extra time (or a lifetime) to hop on a boat and explore the many beautiful mayan villages (each with their own distinct character); try some stunning nature hikes (sunrise trek to the peak of Rostro Maya Nariz is epic!); paraglide over the lake or trek a volcano; venture into coffee farm tours and other unique workshops and offerings from the local communities; permaculture immersions in Tzununá or across the lake at IMAP; mayan women’s natural weaving co-ops in San Juan; ecstatic dance, drum circles, and spiritual deep dives in San Marcos La Laguna; nightlife, restaurants, and daily markets in San Pedro La Laguna and Panajachel; the list goes on! This is our home too! So, we’re happy to point you in the right direction!
